It seems ridiculous, but, unfortunately, more than serious: if a person gets down to business with a dreary and dissatisfied face, he loses motivation. That’s right: it’s not that a person doesn’t want to and he expresses his feelings with a dissatisfied face, but vice versa: a dreary face gives rise to dreary feelings and kills motivation. People often make a disgruntled face out of habit, out of bad habit, but the facial expression affects the internal state in a completely natural way: it’s just physiology and a reflex. What to do? Use this mechanism and accustom yourself to start any business with a satisfied, lively, joyful face.

Dream before my eyes

Make it a rule to dream seriously at least once a month: in the company of friends or loved ones it’s more fun, but you can do it yourself. Turn what you dreamed into something visible and bright: a reminder text, a collage of clippings from a magazine, computer graphics in your talented performance — the main thing is that in the end an A4 sheet with a preview of your dream turns out to be in front of your eyes every day.

Where would you hang this uplifting leaflet: in your bedroom to start your day with a beautiful dream? In the office, so that it is clear what to work for? In the kitchen above the stove, so as not to forget to think about the main thing?

Easy start, feasible stages

A long road, a state-owned house, and along the road the dead with scythes stand … Big goals, sometimes, scare. But if you make sure that the big road gets an easy start and consists of feasible stages, the path ahead will turn into an interesting adventure. It is necessary to master driving — do not torture yourself with a nasty clutch release and shifting naughty gears, take a car with a machine gun and an instructor that is pleasant for you. Sit in the driver’s seat to your heart’s content, play with the steering wheel, find the best hand position, slowly adjust the seat and adjust the mirrors comfortably. If you are afraid of a car, let the instructor bring you to a large free area where there is nothing physically to crash into: drive there without gas in a circle for half an hour or an hour, you will get tired of being afraid, you yourself will want a more interesting route and higher speeds. Well, it’s good, it’s already the next time, but for now it was only — an easy start! With success to you!

Positive experience

The one who believes in his success goes forward well, who knows that he is usually successful. If you tell yourself: “I never succeed!”, “I won’t be able to”, “It definitely won’t work out for me!”, “I will forget everything as always”, you collect your negative experience and lead yourself to failure. Collect your own and others’ positive experiences, memorize and write them down. Get yourself a Notebook of Positive Experience: every day write down what you did well today, what you did well today, your findings and your victories.

For serious people, the condition is tough: read at least one past page every day and write down at least three today’s successes.

External support, do together

It can be difficult for one person to organize oneself, but if several people have agreed to do something together, things start and go much easier. If you want to run in the morning, it is best to agree on this with one of your friends, then one day your call will support him, the next day his call will organize you.

You started, and this is the main thing, and when you get involved, things will go by themselves.

If you decide to start pulling up, but sometimes forget about it, ask someone from your family to remind you — usually someone starts doing it with real pleasure.

And you will start doing useful sports.

If you feel that your determination to move your life forward is weakening, find a circle of people who will support you in this.
