The 5th edition of the PortAmérica Festival arrives at Playa América, in Vigo, to consolidate the multidisciplinary meeting of music, gastronomy, beach and camping in two tremendously dynamic days.
The Doors of the Atlantic will open on the 15th and 16th to celebrate the gastronomic Rocking Show of the year in Porto do Molle, Nigrán.
PortAmérica is an initiative of the Diputación de Pontevedra, which groups its recreational proposal in what we know as Rías Baixas Festivals, to help promote tourism and leisure in the region, through 7 major cultural events, among which are also They find Quente Culture, Atlantic Fest, Sinsal San Simón, Son Rías Baixas, O Marisquiño and Revenidas.
The event has the institutional support of the Galician Agency for the Cultural Industry (AGADIC) and the Cerveza Estrella Galicia firm, where innovation and creativity pursue the participants, on stage or in the kitchen, to collaborate in the connection between cultures of Europe and America, and thus favor economic and social progress on both sides of the Ocean.
A sea of tapas
20 cooks, among whom are 8 Michelin StarsThey will prepare and prepare pinchos or tapas for attendees with all the essence of their prestigious restaurants, but now in the gastro area of the festival.
Together with the famous chefs, the students of the Galician hospitality schools will experience a unique opportunity to learn alongside these great figures of restoration in the Hijos de Rivera Co-cooking Program.

Music and Talent the edge of the sea
Designers and creators also have their place within the Port America festival, and can present their products in an idyllic setting within the “Talent Market”.
A large space where you can see and buy unique products that are the result of the good work and initiative of some of the most interesting Galician designers and creators in the fields of art, fashion or aesthetics.
The artistic and cultural activity will be completed with the loudest part of the festival, but no less attractive for that.
A score of national and international bands will liven up the two days of celebrations to the beat of their chords.
We will be able to see live the performances of Amaral, Bunbury, The Undertones, Molotov, Talisco or Izal among others, who together with Djs Eme and ElyElla they will complete the festival’s musical program.
