Method of preparation
Grate pork slices with salt, pepper and fry in hot fat on both sides. Add tomato paste, cover with hot water and simmer. After 1 hour, add cabbage and onions and continue to simmer. Serve with white bread dumplings. To prepare the dumplings, pour the stale white bread with milk, when it gets wet, stir, add semolina, eggs, salt and leave for 10 minutes to swell, then form round dumplings, dip in slightly salted water and cook over low heat. When the dumplings float, remove them with a slotted spoon, pour over with melted butter.
