Popcorn can be cooked in the microwave or on the stove at home. To do this, you will need special corn grains, salt, sugar, vegetable and butter, spices – all depending on your taste.
Microwave popcorn
Pour some vegetable oil into a popcorn bowl, put the corn in it and stir until all the kernels are covered with an oil film. Now put the beans in one layer and microwave for 3 minutes.
Popcorn on the stove
Pour vegetable oil into a saucepan with a tight lid and heat. Check the glow of the oil by throwing one grain into it. If it has opened, add some grains to the pan. Stir quickly and cover. When the corn bursts, remove from the heat, some kernels will still open in hot oil, so do not open the lid suddenly.
Seasonings
- Popcorn should be salted hot, you can also sprinkle with herbs and spices.
- Powdered sugar will make popcorn sweet, you can season it with juice and zest of any citrus.
- You can drizzle the popcorn with caramel, cooked over low heat from water, butter and sugar.
