A kitchen design project that will appeal to both classics connoisseurs and those who strive to keep up with fashion.

The interior, which combines elements of classic and pop art, is able to absorb the advantages of both styles. The main thing here is a sense of proportion, which does not allow you to cross the line of good taste.

- White-gray scale. Light kitchen facades, white ceilings with wide molding, white wallpaper create an atmosphere of tranquility, cleanliness and comfort. On the shelf under the TV is a plaster piece of “David’s nose”. This is both a modern interpretation of the classic tradition and a symbol, because cuisine is, first of all, the kingdom of taste and smell.
- Classic headset. The installed L-shaped kitchen set has gilded facades with elements of the Corinthian architectural order.
- Ornament from okant leaves. It is also present in the design of kitchen facades (okantha leaves are traditionally decorated with Corinthian capitals), and in the drawing of black and white wallpaper, which is pasted over the opposite wall.
- Window decoration. For a window prompted immediately : roll will come in handy on a sunny day, and from silver taffeta – in the evening.
- Bright color accents. The calm white and gray color scheme of the interior is diluted with splashes of rich plum, which is typical for pop art. This color is used in small quantities and creates an advantageous contrast to light facades. Also, black was used for contrast (black and white wallpaper, glossy porcelain stoneware floor, kitchen apron tiled with metal tiles).
- Breaking down symmetry. Paying tribute to the classics, the designer gave the ceiling a symmetrical shape. But the chandelier is offset from the center and is located exactly above the dining table, which hides the overall severity of the situation.
- Test tube vases. To liven up and diversify the pattern of the silver-embossed wallpaper, we decided to create a structure of metal cables with hanging vases for fresh flowers. The test tubes are almost indistinguishable against the active background, and the flowers seem to float in the air. It gives the interior .
- Transparent furniture. The dining group in the center of the kitchen is formed by a glass table and plastic chairs with chrome legs, which perfectly coexist with a classic chair with a soft seat.
