The Ministry of Health launched a service in Ukrainian on the First Contact Teleplatform. By calling 800 137 200, each citizen of Ukraine who comes to Poland fearing aggression will obtain a medical consultation in their native language.
First Contact Teleplatform now also in Ukrainian
The spokesman of the Ministry of Health, Wojciech Andrusiewicz, informed that the TPK number is free of charge, and Ukrainian doctors who currently practice their profession in Poland will provide services to Ukrainian citizens.
Consultations can also be used via the contact form on the website at: dom.mz.gov.pl/nocna-swiateczna-opieka/ua. The form is available in the Ukrainian version – similarly to the page with the description of the TPK possibilities.
– We are successively launching tools that help Ukrainian citizens in contact with the Polish health service. I would like to emphasize once again – each form of medical care guaranteed by the Polish state, also for Ukrainian citizens who seek shelter with us, is free. The costs of caring for Ukrainian citizens will be covered by our state budget. Thanks to the Ukrainian TPK consultation line, all Ukrainian citizens currently coming to Poland who want to consult their health condition, obtain a prescription or a referral will be able to do so from anywhere they have found themselves – said Minister of Health Adam Niedzielski.
