Champagne with the romantic name Poeme d’Amour (Poeme d’Amour) is made near St. Petersburg. Historical information
Vilash Group of Companies was founded by Mashkyur Gasimov, a former professional athlete. After the end of his career in the late 80s, he came to St. Petersburg, where at first he worked at a construction site as a simple installer. The energetic young man managed to quickly move up the career ladder, and a few years later he already held the position of head of the construction department. With the beginning of the active development of entrepreneurship, Gasimov and his brother decided to establish a wine business.
The company began its activities with the supply of wines from Azerbaijan to the factories of the Northern capital, but already in 1992 it opened its own enterprise. At first it was a small workshop where wine was poured by hand. Despite the fact that the demand for high-quality alcohol in those days was small, the Gasimovs abandoned the production of cheap port wine in favor of vintage wines. The company’s products began to gain popularity among buyers, and the company successfully increased its turnover.
Now Vilash Group of Companies is one of the largest wine producers in the country. The company owns four alcohol production plants in Russia and Europe. The company owns vineyards in Spain and Azerbaijan. The range includes still and sparkling wines, beer, cider and cognac. A large part of the production is exported abroad.
“Poem d’Amour” – sparkling wine made by the classic method of champagne in acratophore tanks.
