It is also becoming better and better assessed by Poles, many organizations and initiatives are encouraged to drink tap water, and in more than one restaurants, we can meet with serving a pot of tap water even before ordering the dishes. It turns out that the so-called tap water is safe for health, we now more often find it quite tasty and transparent. There’s no need to also boil it so that you can drink it without fear (and you shouldn’t even boil the water as this process softens it and therefore deprives it of its ingredients mineral).
Water tap is most often taken from deep wells and underground intakes, sometimes from surface, and its chemical composition often resembles that of mineral water available in the store in a plastic bottle (also thanks treatment processes). The content of dissolved in tap water minerals is several hundred milligrams per liter, which is similar to typical mineral water (moderately mineralized). The fact is that tap water contains trace amounts of chlorinebecause this relationship prevents reproduction pathogenic bacteria. In the case of healthy people, it is not very much important, because on a daily basis we should drink water rather on average mineralized. Whereas people who, for health reasons, must provide the body with more calcium or potassium, they will successfully benefit from bottled water with a high degree of mineralization.
Big The problem with the use of water bottling is the material from which packaging is made – plastic. Environmental and health considerations reject us from drinking water from a package that will ultimately only fill the landfill resource or worse – forests or other natural areas. Taking care of segregation waste in our environment, we can slightly improve ecological issues. What however, with a potential risk of chemicals such as phthalates, bisphenol What about antimony? The mentioned compounds are proven to be carcinogenic. Yes, trace amounts of chemicals from the packaging to the product, to the environment and… to organisms. But it’s not just a matter of drinking bottled water – v reality through the development of civilization, we have brought on ourselves dangers related to the presence of artificial substances in the environment. It is also worth bearing in mind that indicators such as the amount of harmful compounds in water are strictly controlled by the relevant institutions and do not appear in the products concerned in amounts that are directly hazardous to health. If we will give up plastic packaging and limit the access of harmful compounds into the body only in a small, insignificant relationship.
Maybe so bottles and filter jugs are the perfect solution in this situation? Filters will remove impurities, leave all beneficial effects in the liquid minerals, will improve the smell and taste of the water … but unfortunately, they also have theirs minuses. Many of us forget that once in a while, preferably once a month, the water filter cartridge must be replaced. Otherwise, we risk yourself and your loved ones to the danger of microbial growth. In addition, the filters remove from the water, among others. chlorine. As previously mentioned, this is it a compound that destroys bacteria and microorganisms. So the water that was left cleaned with a filter, like bottled, should be consumed in as short as possible.
