Plant names for the alpine slide
The rock garden can be conditionally divided into 3 tiers: upper, middle and lower. The top of the alpine hill should be bright, resistant to the scorching sun and drought, because little moisture reaches it. Various ground cover plants will fit here. A good example is a fluffy carpet of evergreen Iberis with bright spots of perennial carnations. This combination is easy to care for and unpretentious.
Choose evergreens to make the rock garden look good at any time of the year
Plant flowers at mid-range that tolerate light shade. The humidity level is higher here, so the choice of plants is wider. A good option for the middle tier is multi-colored phlox, which grow against the background of a woolly chisel. Aubrietta with its luxurious foliage will also fit into this tier.
Plant plants on the lower level that are not afraid of shading and love moisture. These can be dwarf trees and miniature shrubs. Bright accents to the lower tier can be added with saxifrage and liatris. These flowers are used to growing on rocky soil.
