Pizza with sour cream: Italy at home. Video
Pizza is a delicious and satisfying dish. However, many housewives rarely cook it, not wanting to mess with yeast dough. If time is running out or you just don’t want to mess around, pizza with sour cream will come to the rescue. Its preparation will take 15 minutes on the strength, and its taste will not be inferior to the classic Italian relative. In addition, sour cream dough turns out to be more rich and fluffy.
For the dough: – chicken egg – 1 pc .; – sour cream with a fat content of 15% – 1/2 cup; – flour – 1/2 cup; – soda – 1/2 tsp; – lemon juice or table vinegar – 1 tsp; – sugar – 1 tsp; – salt – a pinch.
For the filling:
– cervelat – 8 slices; – fresh champignons – 3 pcs.; – pitted olives – 10 pcs.; – sweet pepper – 1/2 pc.; – cheese – 100 g; – ketchup or tomato paste – 150 g.
As the dough cooks very quickly, turn on the oven 180 degrees before cooking so that it has time to warm up.
In a deep bowl, beat the egg with salt and sugar. This is most conveniently done with a mixer, but a hand-held whisk will work as well. Then, while continuing to stir the dough with a whisk or ordinary fork, add the required amount of sour cream and flour. Quench the baking soda with lemon juice or vinegar and also add to the dough. Mix thoroughly.
When adding flour, focus on the consistency of the dough. To prepare a dry biscuit cake, it should look like thick sour cream. If you want a softer and juicier crust, slightly reduce the amount of flour.
Cut a circle out of baking paper and place it on the bottom of the baking dish to make it easier to reach the finished crust later. Lay out the dough and flatten. The dough can also be put on a regular baking sheet, manually giving it a round shape, but in this case, the edges of the pizza will not turn out perfectly even.
Place the dough in the oven for 5-7 minutes. The finished crust should be completely baked, but remain pale or slightly golden.
Wash the mushrooms thoroughly, dry with a towel and cut into thin slices. Chop half of the pepper into strips. Cut the olives in half. Grate the cheese on a coarse grater.
Remove the finished crust from the oven. Spread it with a thin layer of tomato paste, top with sausage, champignon wedges, pepper and olive halves. Sprinkle with cheese on top.
The ingredients for the filling can be selected according to your taste preferences: meat, sausages, vegetables and herbs. Only tomato sauce and cheese remain unchanged
Place the pizza dish back in the oven for about 7-10 minutes until a golden cheese crust forms. Gently transfer the finished pizza to a platter, cut into 8 servings and serve hot.
