Pizza is a popular dish of Italian cuisine, loved in other countries of the world. The main ingredient in pizza is cheese. It will not be difficult to prepare this dish at home, and aromatic tasty pizza can become a real decoration of the table.

Which cheese is better for pizza?

In Italy, pizza with four cheeses is one of the most popular. As the name suggests, the recipe for this dish includes four types of cheese. As a rule, these are classic parmesan cheese, mozzarella with a mild creamy taste, spicy blue Dorblu cheese and soft sweet fontina cheese. Each of these cheeses gives the pizza a special aroma and flavor.

Making the Four Cheese Pizza at home requires few ingredients. But the difficulty lies in the fact that not all types of cheese are easy to buy in Russian stores. Therefore, variability is possible when preparing pizza. For example, Parmesan cheese can be replaced with any hard cheese such as Dutch or Tilsiter, and mozzarella can be replaced with Suluguni, Adyghe or ricotta cheese. Instead of Dorblue, you can take any cheese with a blue mold (gornozola, Roquefort), and replace the fontina cheese with Italian provolone, Swiss Gruyere or another cheese of your choice with a fat content of at least 40%.

To prepare pizza “Four cheeses” you will need:

– 1,5 cups flour; – 1 tsp yeast; – 200 ml of water; – 1 tbsp. vegetable oil (it is better to take olive oil infused with herbs); – 1 tsp Sahara; – 0,5 tsp salt; – mozzarella; – parmesan; – dorblu; – fountain.

For pizza dough, milk can be used instead of water, and butter can be used instead of vegetable oil. Then the base will turn out to be more rich and fluffy.

First you need to replace the base dough. To do this, dilute the yeast with water, add sugar, salt and some flour. In order for the flour to be enriched with oxygen, it must first be sieved. Then you need to mix the ingredients and leave for 15 minutes. Then pour in the oil, add the remaining flour and mix everything well again. After 10 minutes, you can transfer the prepared dough to a greased baking sheet and distribute by hand. The pizza base should be very thin.

You can make a pizza base from yeast-free dough. It will require:

– 1 glass of flour; – 180 ml of kefir; – 50 g creamy margarine; – 1 egg; – baking soda; – salt.

Margarine should be cut into pieces, combined with kefir, egg, flour and mix well. Then you need to take soda (literally at the tip of a knife), add to the mass and knead the dough. Roll a ball out of it and place in the refrigerator for half an hour. After 30 minutes, roll the dough into a thin layer with a diameter of 30 cm and carefully transfer the base to a pre-oiled baking sheet.

Pizza recipes with mozzarella, parmesan, dorblu and fontina

Brush the prepared pizza base with olive oil and put the cheeses on top. Cut the mozzarella and dorblu into small cubes, and grate the parmesan and fontina.

Preheat the oven to 240 ° C and put a baking sheet with pizza in it. In 15 minutes, the deliciously aromatic four-cheese pizza is ready.
