Pizang Ambon

Pisang Ambon Liqueur made from a variety of sweet green bananas.

It is usually used not as a standalone alcoholic drink, but as an ingredient, for example, in the preparation of the Flying Dutchman, Green Mexican, Shadow Mexican Green, Blue Temptation, Julie and other cocktails. The fortress is 20%.

The liqueur got its name from the island of the Dutch colony of Ambon and the word Pisang, which in Malaysia means “banana”. This drink was prepared according to an old Indonesian liquor recipe. Its main ingredient is green bananas from the island of Ambon.

For a long time, the liquor could not find its use due to its strong sweetness. It gained popularity over time as bartenders began experimenting with it. The sweetness of this drink goes well with some popular cocktail ingredients.
