Salads are a versatile dish. Many different foods can be used to prepare them. Ingredients for salads are usually selected according to the season – during the period of high availability and maximum freshness of vegetables. However, in winter, homework comes to the aid of housewives. Pickled cucumbers are especially popular for making simple and delicious salads.

Salad with champignons and pickled cucumbers

You will need the following ingredients:

– fresh champignons – 250 g; – boiled potatoes – 200-250 g; – pickled cucumbers – 150 g; – onion – 1 pc.; – salt; – mayonnaise; – vegetable oil – 1 tbsp. a spoon.

First, you need to boil potatoes for the salad, preferably in their uniforms. Boiled potatoes should be cooled and peeled, cut into small cubes. Finely chop the onion for the salad. Then you need to fry the onion in vegetable oil until half cooked. For frying, 1 tablespoon of oil is enough, then the salad will turn out to be not greasy. The champignons should be cut into cubes, preferably small. Add mushrooms to the fried onions and fry them together with the onions over medium heat for 10-15 minutes.

Before you start preparing a salad, you should learn how to deliciously pickle cucumbers. For example, if you add chili peppers in addition to the usual marinade, dill and garlic, the cucumbers will acquire a special taste.

Pickled cucumbers with peppers are best for this salad. They have a pleasant pungency and a special taste. Cutting cucumbers is done in small cubes for the bulk of the salad and in thin circles for decoration. The prepared ingredients must be put into a mixing container, salt, mix and season with a spoonful of mayonnaise. The prepared salad can be served by giving it the shape of a snake and garnished with pickled cucumber circles on top.

Beef salad with cucumbers

You will need:

– beef – 300 g; – pickled cucumbers – 3-4 pcs .; – boiled potatoes – 2 pcs.; – onion – 1pc .; – red and white canned beans – 70-100 g; – dill – 1 bunch; – lemon – 1 pc.

Salads containing meat can be not only an appetizer, but also a full-fledged dish. Therefore, salads with meat are relevant both on the festive table and in the everyday menu.

The meat should be cut into thin strips and fry until cooked in vegetable oil with the addition of spices. After the meat has cooled, you need to salt it to taste. Next, you need to cut the green pickled cucumbers and boiled potatoes into slices, and the onions for the salad into half rings.

The beans should be placed in a colander to drain off excess liquid and transferred to a mixing container. Then you should put the rest of the ingredients in the same dish, mix them, salt and sprinkle with lemon juice.

After the salad has steeped for 10 minutes, add finely chopped dill. Salad ready. Thanks to the two types of beans, the salad has an original look. Delicious pickled cucumbers make it tender and aromatic.
