Any hostess probably has several favorite recipes, according to which she prepares canned cabbage for the whole family. But even the most delicious salad is boring to eat from year to year. Perhaps cabbage pieces will not be a discovery for you, but we will try to bring to your attention several recipes that differ from each other in taste and a set of products.
The easiest recipe
Perhaps there is no easier way to cook pickled cabbage than this one. The necessary products are easy to find in any kitchen.
Ingredients
For a 3 liter jar you need:
- cabbage – 1 kg;
- water – 1 l;
- salt – 2 tbsp. spoons;
- sugar – 2 tbsp. spoons;
- vinegar essence (70%) – 2 teaspoons;
- vegetable oil – 1 tbsp. a spoon.
Preparation
Remove the outer leaves and cut the cabbage into pieces of any size.
Wash the jars with soda, rinse, sterilize.
Pack cabbage tightly into prepared containers.
Boil water in an enamel pan, dissolve sugar and salt there. Enter oil, vinegar essence, boil for 3 minutes.
Pour the marinade into jars, cork them with nylon lids. Without turning over, cover with an old blanket.
Keep at room temperature for 3 days, then put in the refrigerator or cellar.
spicy cabbage
This pickled cabbage recipe can be prepared very quickly. The preparation will surely appeal to people who prefer dishes with a rich taste and aroma.
Ingredients
For pickling cabbage we take:
- cabbage – 2 kg;
- garlic – 3 lobules;
- water – 1,5 l;
- vinegar – 100 ml;
- sugar – 2 tbsp. spoons;
- salt – 2 tbsp. spoons;
- black peppercorns – 6 pcs.;
- allspice – 2 pc.;
- bay leaf – 1 pcs .;
- dill seeds – 1 teaspoon.
You need to pickle cabbage of late varieties. From the listed products, you can prepare a three-liter jar of snacks.
Preparation
Cut the cabbage into pieces, after removing the leaves covering the head of cabbage.
At the bottom of the 3-liter jars washed with soda, we throw peppers, bay leaves, dill seeds, peeled garlic cloves.
Lay cabbage slices on top.
From vinegar, salt, sugar, water, cook the marinade and fill the containers.
We cover cabbage for the winter in jars with a metal lid. Sterilize for 40 minutes.

- water – 1 l.

Preparation
Remove the top cabbage leaves, stalk, cut into large pieces.
Free the garlic from the husk.
Peel the beets, wash, cut into slices or cubes.
At the bottom of a pre-sterilized three-liter jar, lay garlic, bitter pepper, bay leaf.

You can keep large containers with cabbage pieces on a glazed loggia, but then you need to cook them when the heat subsides and cool weather sets in.

Prepare:
- cabbage – 3 kg;
- carrots – 2 pcs .;
- red beets – 2 pcs.;
- garlic – 2 heads.
Marinade:
- vinegar – 150 ml;
- vegetable oil – 100 ml;
- salt – 6 tbsp. spoons;
- sugar – 8 tbsp. spoons;
- hot pepper – 1 pod;
- water – 3 l;
- black, allspice – at your discretion.
You can put more beets – it turns out delicious on its own, less sugar or garlic.
Preparation
Remove the upper leaves from the cabbage, cut it into pieces. We marinate small slices in jars; for large containers, the heads can be cut into several parts.
Peel and wash beets, carrots. To preserve in jars, grate the vegetables with a large-hole grater. For large containers, you can cut them into circles or cubes.
Disassemble the garlic into slices, peel them, finely chop.
Combine carrots, garlic, beets, mix well.
Wash and dry containers for preparing cabbage for the winter. Sterilize jars.
First, cabbage, then carrots and beets, are tightly laid in layers in containers, tamping with a fist or crush.
We combine all the ingredients for the marinade, except for vinegar, in an enamel pan. Boil 5 minutes. We introduce vinegar and turn off the fire.
When the marinade has cooled to about 80 degrees, pour it over the vegetables so that the liquid completely covers them.
Close jars with nylon lids. Put a load on top of large containers, not necessarily large, just enough so that the vegetables do not float.

Cabbage for the winter can be cooked with other vegetables, which will only benefit the harvesting. Thanks to spices, it will come out fragrant, spicy and very tasty.
Ingredients
Prepare Assorted Vegetables:
- cabbage – 1 small head;
- cucumbers – 3 pcs.;
- sweet pepper – 3 pcs .;
- tomatoes – 3 pcs .;
- onion – 2 pcs .;
- garlic – 1 head;
- carrots – 2 pcs .;
- hot pepper – 1 pc.;
- dill, parsley – 3 branches each;
- tarragon – 2 branches;
- black peppercorns – 6 pcs.;
- salt – 2 tbsp. spoons;
- sugar – 2 tbsp. spoons;
- vinegar essence – 1 teaspoon.
The products are designed to tightly fill a three-liter container. All vegetables should be of medium size and of good quality.
Preparation
Wash all vegetables and herbs.
From the cabbage, remove the leaves located on top, the stalk and cut into large pieces.
Remove the seeds and tail from the pepper, divide lengthwise into 4 parts.
Peel onions, cucumbers and carrots, cut into circles.
Separate the garlic cloves and remove the skins.
Cut hot pepper into small pieces.
At the bottom of a three-liter jar, place garlic, herbs, hot peppers and peas.
Gently place all the ingredients in a bowl with spices in random order. First, place the cabbage and tomatoes, add pieces of other vegetables to the voids.
Boil water, carefully fill the jar, cover with a metal lid and wrap it warmly for 30 minutes.
Pour the still warm water into an enamel saucepan. Bring to a boil, pour over vegetables again and let stand for half an hour.
When you drain the liquid again, add sugar, salt to it, boil, add vinegar.
Fill a jar with vegetables and roll up. Turn the container over, wrap it warmly.
With raisins
You can quickly pickle delicious cabbage for the winter. Thanks to sugar and raisins, it will turn out sweet and unusual.
Ingredients
Prepare:
- cabbage – 3 kg;
- carrots – 0,5 kg;
- onion – 0,5 kg;
- raisins – 1 glass;
- sugar – 1 glass;
- vegetable oil – 1 cup;
- vinegar – 1 cup;
- garlic – 1 head;
- salt – 2 tbsp. spoons;
- water – 2 liters.
Preparation
Remove the outer leaves from the cabbage, remove the stalk, cut into small pieces.
Peel the rest of the vegetables, cut the onion into halves of the rings, rub the carrots on a grater with large holes. Crush the garlic with a press.
Rinse raisins with hot water.
Combine the prepared products in a large bowl, mix and rub with your hands.
Sterilize the jars and place the vegetables in them, tamping with your fist.
We cook the marinade from sugar, salt, vegetable oil. We introduce vinegar.
After boiling, fill the jars with marinade, cork, warm.
