Photos: how do children live in 2016 without screens?
Photographer, Niki Boon, of Zeeland origin, trained in physiotherapy, stopped working after her second child. His project consists of photographing the daily life of his family, and especially his children who spend their days playing outside, without being monopolized by the screens. The whole family lives in Marlborough, New Zealand, in a rural setting. Parents embraced alternative education with their toddlers. For example, they grow up without a television, closer to nature, while playing as spontaneously as possible. Niki Boon explains: “I photograph them as if I were recording them in a childhood that they experience in complete freedom. My children are there, covered in mud, playing in their daily life. Their stories are part of me. And these photos are there so that we can relive it in the years to come, ”she adds.
