For inspiration to everyone who is going to make repairs – a photo gallery of interiors: an entrance hall, a hall, a living room, a bedroom, a kitchen, a nursery – before and after the renovation.

The hallway is the hallmark of the house, where guests enter for the first time. The first impression of the apartment depends on the appearance of the hallway.

To transform an uncomfortable, dull space, designers have brought bright colors to this hallway. The walls were repainted in a rich terracotta shade, and the hallway immediately became warmer. Country-style accessories added coziness to the interior. For the convenience of the guests, a wooden bench appeared, where it is convenient to put on and take off your shoes. The striped homespun rug invites guests to enter the house. A console with wicker baskets stores shoes and accessories, and a large mirror reflects light from the window, visually expanding the hallway space.

The passion of the owners – all sorts of antiques bought at the flea market, greatly obstructed the passage from the hallway to the living room. They decided to localize them in a single place – for which they used an open rack in the living room, directly opposite the door.

After the walls of the hallway were repainted in a rich color, a contrast appeared between the rooms, this made it possible to lighten the living room and effectively accentuate the favorite collection of the owners.

Small, dark and cluttered, this kitchen was clearly not designed to energize its hosts in the morning. The dark oak kitchen facades made the kitchen look smaller than it actually was. Another disadvantage: unused wall surface with fully cluttered countertops.

The facades were repainted white to visually enlarge the space. For the dishwasher, we ordered a new finish in the color of the kitchen. The top curtains were removed to brighten the kitchen. The microwave oven was hung on the wall, and the area of the working surfaces immediately expanded.

The children’s playroom was more like a dump of toys, not allowing children to move freely in space, and mom to clean up.

The first thing that was missing in the nursery was a spacious rack with shelves and containers for storing toys. Such a rack made it possible to free up the space of the room, which was then divided into three functional zones: for creative activities (easel), for board games (in the center of the room) and for reading (a comfortable armchair and bookshelves next to it). The sunny windows were hung with curtains made of fabric in a soft blue hue, which, as you know, perfectly stimulates creative inspiration.

Workplace: before and after

In the absence of a well-thought-out storage system, the home office turns into a place where there is everything, but nothing, because finding the right paper in a pile of bills, magazines and children’s drawings becomes an overwhelming task.

The designers rightly used the wall surface behind the table. They placed convenient shelves with folders and boxes for storing papers on it. As a result, after the general inventory, the working surface of the table was freed up for new achievements.

The huge double bed, pushed into the corner, made the already small room very cramped. The dark carpet on the floor only made the impression worse. In addition, the room, which was also an office and a bedroom for guests, changed its targeting. Now she had to become a nursery and at the same time not lose the function of an office.

Turquoise filled the room with air and created a pleasant atmosphere for both work and living for the baby. A single color scheme – a combination of blue and white – made it possible to combine two functional areas. A roller blind on the window creates, if desired, the darkening that is necessary for the daytime sleep of the newborn.
