The third dose of the vaccine from Pfizer / BioNTech «strongly» increases protection against the Delta variant of the coronavirus. Antibody levels are five times higher than after the second dose, the drug manufacturer says.
In a report released on Wednesday for the second quarter, Pfizer said the anti-Delta variant antibody levels in 18- to 55-year-olds who received the third dose of the vaccine were more than five times higher than after the second dose.
