– At what age should you start caring for your skin? It is generally accepted that care is required only when problems arise.
– Any problem is easier to prevent than to fix. For example, it is necessary to use photoprotective products literally from birth. The current love of young people for excessive tanning ensures much earlier aging of the skin. But it is the ultraviolet light received by the skin under the age of 18 that is the most harmful.
– It is clear that cosmetics, even the highest quality ones, are not a panacea for all problems with facial skin. And yet, what problems can cosmetic preparations solve, and which ones – at least delay?
– With the help of cosmetic preparations, you can successfully fight, for example, with skin hyperpigmentation. The combination of photoprotective and whitening agents has a remarkable effect. The problem of spider veins on the face is also well solved with the help of cosmetics. Cosmetics also have a great influence on the level of skin moisture.
– Is excessive skin pigmentation always a consequence of excessive tanning?
– Not only. As a rule, pigmentation is a multifactorial phenomenon, that is, a combination of age-related changes, hormonal status, post-inflammatory pigmentation, etc.
– Can you fight each type of pigmentation with the help of cosmetics?
– With every. But the result will depend not only on the effects of the drugs, but also on the woman’s lifestyle and habits. If the doctor has prescribed professional care and appropriate procedures, and the lady continues to methodically influence her skin or apply drugs that cause pigmentation, the result will be far from desired.
– Cosmetic preparations are both professional and mass. What is their fundamental difference?
– As a rule, professional cosmetics preparations contain medicinal components, and their concentration is higher than in mass-market cosmetics, which are more familiar to the population. The latter is always focused on sales in large volumes, which implies the storage of drugs and, as a result, a large amount of preservatives, fragrances and other not very useful components. In addition, people often choose cosmetics by smell, texture, color, packaging, and all this must be taken into account by manufacturers of drugs of mass brands.
