Perm is a simple and effective way to get long-lasting curly and lush hair. The essence of the curling procedure is to impregnate the strands with a special composition and fix them in a twisted state for a while. Depending on the characteristics of the chemical composition, several types of curling are distinguished.

It is the most common type of perm with a history of over 100 years. Over the years, the procedure technology and the chemicals used have changed significantly. Modern permanent curling treats hair much more gentle than 10-15 years ago. This procedure is recommended for women with thin hair who want to add extra volume to their hair. Permanent perm in vertical technique is interesting. It allows you to create textured spiral curls on long hair.

Girls with “chemistry” always look great in the photo, but, unfortunately, even modern chemicals with softening additives seriously damage the hair structure during permanent curling.

In beauty salons, after the curling procedure, they usually use therapeutic lipid-protein complexes, but this is not always enough to maintain healthy hair. The curls become dry and can become very tangled. The ends of the hair often start to split. Therefore, for hair with a perm, regular care is extremely important, including washing with shampoos and balms for curly hair, nourishing and moisturizing masks, and timely trimming of split ends.

A significant advantage of this type of curling is its sparing attitude to hair, and its disadvantage is its short term. Curls last only a couple of months, so “carving” is often called long-lasting styling. This procedure does not dry out the hair, allows you to create root volume and graceful natural curls that do not require special care and enhanced nutrition. Over time, the strands develop by themselves and return to their natural state.

Perm is not recommended for pregnant and lactating women, as well as during illness and after a serious illness.

This is the most fashionable type of “chemistry” in modern beauty salons. Due to the special composition of the active substance, biowave does not harm the hair. As well as “carving”, it lasts no longer than two months. Its main advantage is a wide range of curling chemicals. There are different types of biowave for normal, oily, dry, fine and colored hair. During the procedure, special medicinal additives can be used for the smoothness and shine of the curls.
