Permanent makeup of eyebrows – microblading. Advantages and disadvantages

Microblading is a type of permanent eyebrow makeup that is becoming more and more popular among Polish women. Is permanent makeup really a good idea or does it work better than makeup fixatives? How much does it cost, what advantages and disadvantages can be attributed to it? We write about all this in today’s article.

Permanent makeup of eyebrows – what does it look like, how much does it cost?

Permanent makeup by microblading costs about PLN 500 and is possible to perform in professional cosmetic studios.

Microblading differs from full permanent makeup (i.e. shading) in the way color is applied to the skin. Microblading is a “feather method” – single, additional hairs are added to complement the natural eyebrows, and thus the make-up is more natural and looks extremely fresh.

The microblading treatment is simple and very fast. Initially, at the meeting, we are informed about the make-up technique and all the details related to the procedure itself. Then, a short questionnaire is filled out regarding general health, diseases and medications taken. It is also worth noting that you should fill out a questionnaire stating that you will not file a complaint in the event of an unsatisfactory effect. The procedure itself involves the introduction of local anesthesia in the eyebrow area. Then a dye is selected, which is introduced under the skin and whose color will be visible between our natural eyebrows.

Microblading: what else do you need to know?

• The effect of permanent makeup lasts for approx two years;
• In the case of dry skin, the make-up effect lasts much longer than in the case of oily skin;
• Before applying make-up, ask what dye the salon uses. Some of them lose their color over time and under the influence of water, sometimes even to a color very distant from the first, intended one.
