Perfect figure in 10 days from Miss Sport – 2013

Last year, Anna Milyaeva bypassed dozens of applicants at the Miss Sport 2013 contest and received the title of the most athletic girl in the country. Anna became interested in fitness by accident, thanks to the awkward remark of high school girls who called her fat.

– Anna, how did it happen that you entered Moscow State University to study chemistry and at the same time linked your life not with laboratories and research, but with sports?

– Starting from the sixth grade I began to like biology, then physics, and when chemistry started, I realized that it was mine. In the eighth grade, one boy with whom I went to courses at the Faculty of Chemistry of Moscow State University, said that I would not enter, I did not have enough abilities. We got into an argument, and I began to study hard. I sat over books all weekend. In the same year, high school girls called me fat. I have never had a pronounced excess weight, but at that moment I really did get a little fat. This remark offended me, and I decided to secretly go to work out in a fitness club.

– Did the work on your own body fascinate you so much that you decided to become a coach?

– Such a crazy thought came to my mind after a year of classes. I came for an interview at a network of sports clubs, showed that I can. I was willingly accepted for training and asked to bring my documents. And then I announced that I did not have a passport, it would be in two weeks, when I turned 14. The girl who “interviewed” me was simply stunned. So I entered training, and a year later I received a certificate and, being a ninth grade student, started working as an aerobics instructor with children’s groups. But I didn’t quit chemistry. At the age of 16 she entered the Faculty of Chemical Medicine and Dietetics at Moscow State University. And then I realized that fitness courses are not enough for me and I need a real specialized education. Soon I was admitted to the full-time department at the sports institute. So I managed everything at once. At the age of 21 she graduated from Moscow State University, at 22 – from the Russian State University of Physical Culture, and at 23 she celebrated her 10th anniversary in sports.

– And you wrote a book for the anniversary?

– Not certainly in that way. Any coach, when he reaches a certain level of skill, understands that the time has come to transfer his work to others. So I came to this. I decided not only to publish another fitness guide, but to create a universal mechanism, a book that will, no worse than a computer, help to calculate a training program based on the individual characteristics of the body and a person’s temperament. The reader can identify where his problems lie, where he lacks flexibility, where the spine is overextended. He kind of passes the test, and according to the results he makes up a workout for himself, guided by his own feelings and using the exercises from the book.

– Is your book primarily for those who want to lose weight, or for people with postural disorders?

– And for those, and for others. Health is a complex concept. People who come to the gym for a figure sooner or later understand that without correct posture, a beautiful figure cannot be. Curved edges will still be crooked, even with abs cubes. Posture is the priority on which a good figure is built. As soon as a person begins to work on posture, his state of health and worldview changes. No wonder they say that stooped people see life under their feet. When the posture is leveled, more oxygen enters the body, pain disappears, and mood improves. Through physical activity and strengthening the muscle corset, the body is tightened. The chest becomes taller, the waist is thinner. It takes a couple of extra pounds, but due to the correct posture, the figure is radically transformed.

– Will the result from training be, as you promise, in 10 days?

– This does not mean 10 calendar days, but 10 training days. If every day or two you practice for 20 minutes, you will get the desired result. The dynamic stereotype will be corrected. That is, you will no longer be comfortable in the wrong position. In other words, we “put” the bones in place with the help of muscles.
