Pelafen Baby 6m + is used for colds and flu in children over 6 months of age. It can also be used prophylactically in the fall and winter period and in the early spring, when the child is more exposed to unfavorable weather conditions. The preparation is intended for dietary purposes. It contains natural ingredients that strengthen the functioning of the child’s immune system. Thanks to the complex of ingredients of natural origin, the preparation has a positive effect on the condition of the respiratory tract, throat and immunity.
Pelafen Baby – properties and composition
Pelafen Baby 6m + combines specially selected ingredients that strengthen the child’s immunity – linden flower extract and elderberry fruit, beta-glucans, vitamin C and zinc. The formulation also includes: refined sunflower oil, fully hydrogenated coconut oil and sucrose. Properties of the individual ingredients of the preparation for children Pelafen Baby 6m +:
- linden inflorescence – supports the functioning of the throat and vocal cords, helps in the proper secretion of sweat (especially helpful in colds),
- elderberry fruit – helps maintain the proper functioning of the entire immune system,
- vitamin C and zinc – have a positive effect on the immune functions of the child’s body, improve immunity, reduce the risk of disease, and during an infection, help the body fight the source of the disease faster,
- 1,3 / 1,6 D beta-glucans – natural polysaccharides that are present in the cell walls of Saccharomyces cerevisiae (a species of microorganisms).
Ingredients of the capsule shell: pork gelatin, colors – titanium dioxide, cochineal, iron oxides and hydroxides, humectant (glycerol).
Pelafen Baby – dosage
The dosage of the preparation depends on the age of the child. If the child is over 6 months old and is under 2 years of age, he should take 1 capsule 2 times a day. The dosage is increased in children over 2 years of age, such a child should be given 1 capsule 3 times a day.
Pelafen Baby – directions for use
Twist-off capsules should be squeezed last, twisted and torn off. The contents of the capsule should be given to the child immediately after opening. Pelafen Baby 6m + can be squeezed into the mouth directly, on a teaspoon, or mixed with food. Care should be taken to prevent a child accidentally swallowing the capsule shell.

The preparation is a foodstuff for medical purposes, it cannot replace a proper diet and cannot be administered only as a food source. Pelafen Baby cannot be used if you are hypersensitive to any of the ingredients of the preparation. If you suspect that your child has developed an allergic reaction, discontinue use of the preparation and contact your doctor.
