Dozens of medical facilities from all over Poland were to lose their contracts with the National Health Fund in July. This was the decision of the Minister of Health, guided by the indicator of the number of telepaths. Niedzielski said that these clinics had too much of a consultation over the phone. On Monday, it was reported that patients, however, would not lose access to primary care physicians, as they managed to reach an agreement with the National Health Fund. Agreements will be extended for 18 months, annexes to them signed on Monday – according to the agreement of the Federation of Healthcare Employers’ Associations, the Zielona Góra Agreement.

The agreement was signed on Sunday, June 27 this year, and the annexes to the contracts for the provision of primary care services, which expired on June 30 this year. service providers will sign on Monday by 12. They will be extended for 18 months.

As the Agreement assured, “both parties stated in the introductory part of the agreement that their common goal is to ensure the availability and continuity of providing primary health care services and the good quality of these services”.

“Under the agreement, the head of the National Health Fund will approach the minister of health with an initiative to establish a team that will work on the reform of primary health care. It will be led by a national consultant in the field of family medicine, and representatives of the Federation and the National Health Fund will become its vice-presidents »- it was written in the press release.

The Zielona Góra Agreement recalled that one of the conditions set by the employers’ representatives was to assure the Minister of Health that he would withdraw from the announced punishment of POZ entities for a large number of teleports to terminate the contract. Moreover, PZ informed that “in the document concluding the negotiations it was stated that the National Health Fund, after verification of the reporting, will restore the possibility of these entities to work under the contract with the fund”.

At the same time, it explained that one of the points of the agreement concerns the fight against the pandemic.
