Are we always right, trying to save the usual way of life?
A chance meeting of an elderly teacher Raymond Gregorius with a woman from Portugal becomes for him a line beyond which life cannot remain the same. The hero goes to Lisbon in order to get acquainted with the real world, from which he has been trying to hide behind the pages of tomes for so many years, and in order to look into his own soul and see there what he never suspected.
