Sometimes miraculous reincarnations are explained in the most banal way. This was confirmed by a couple from London when they posted their photos on Instagram on a new velvet sofa. In one of the pictures, they were surprised to find that they had switched bodies.
Actor and actress Sam Cassidy and Kelly Gnauck have purchased a green velvet sofa for their apartment in London’s Greenwich. When it finally arrived, Kelly and Sam decided to share their joy with their Instagram followers, had a short photo shoot, and then posted three photos online.
And they never expected that one of them would confuse thousands of people. When looking at her, one gets the impression that the partners have switched bodies. How? Thanks to an optical illusion. The photo turned out so believable that 29-year-old Kelly first thought that someone was playing a trick on them, forged the picture.
“I ordered a sofa back in September and it took about five months for delivery,” Kelly said. – When it finally happened, we were in seventh heaven with happiness.
We decided to capture a significant day in the photo. And believe me, if it weren’t for the optical illusion, we wouldn’t have posted this photo for anything, because it didn’t turn out very well on it. At first I thought that someone had worked in Photoshop, and only then I realized that this effect turned out naturally.
Kelly wrote in the post, “Photo shoot with new sofa? Certainly! Why not! And thanks to pure luck and divine blessing, we got photo number three. She is the best thing that could happen to this world.”
Sam also seemed to think the situation was quite amusing, as he added, “I didn’t find the photo creepy at all, on the contrary, it’s gorgeous. I looked at her and realized how lucky we were. Few people have ever managed to swap bodies with a loved one. This is such a rare occurrence that even unicorns are more common.”
Kelly’s followers were quick to notice the bizarre illusion, and one of them commented on the photo, “That last picture blew my mind.” Another replied: “I looked at the photo for half an hour to figure out where whose legs are.”
It’s a pity, of course, that you can’t actually swap bodies with a partner. For many, such a castling would be an excellent lesson – to take the place of another, to feel what he feels, well, it won’t hurt anyone to look at themselves from the outside.
