Participants of the third season of the show dancing on TNT from yekaterinburg: photos, details

In the third season of the show “DANCES” on TNT channel four Yekaterinburg residents participate at once: a video blogger, an artist of the “Provincial Dances” theater, a shaman girl and a representative of the bright and energetic style of popping. Let’s get acquainted!

Olga Ilyina, 23 years old, choreographer, dancer:

– From an early age I danced at the children’s art school. I also have a classical education – I graduated from the Ural State Pedagogical University as a choreographer. At the same time, I have always been additionally engaged in hip-hop, so my performance on the DANCES project is a synthesis of directions.

I teach classes in different places. With the beginning of the school year, I will return to the Monument modern dance group at the Ural State Pedagogical University and to my hip-hop team Region 66. But my main project is the Foxtronica music-visual show. Once like-minded people from different projects gathered and decided to create something extraordinary, close only to us. This business is headed by Roman Valeev, our artistic director. It was Roman who suggested that I go to the show “DANCES” on TNT. So thank him for the “boom” in my life!

First there was a preliminary casting, then a television one in Yekaterinburg. For television casting, I had to change the song for the musical accompaniment (I had the music of a Jewish orchestra), since copyright must be respected. Replaced by the Ukrainian singer Luna. Before the preliminary casting, I was insanely worried: it was very emotional, but I still did not fully understand what was happening. There was just a wild desire to dance for the sake of sports interest. And when they told me that out of 200 people they chose 5, and I was among them, it was, of course, very cool!

On the show “DANCES” I combined classical choreography, hip-hop and added a theatrical component, which is in the lead. There, I relied on inner feelings to convey my feelings and thoughts to the audience: it doesn’t matter what style you move in, the main thing is inner understanding, whether it’s yours or not. So I didn’t focus on technical performance, stunts, or raising legs with beautiful feet. My message is shamanism, strangeness and versatility in a person. These are my chips, which were even appreciated by Lyaysan Utyasheva (host of the show “DANCES” on TNT. – Approx. WD). She said it was very unusual. I was pleasantly surprised by this assessment. I am grateful to both the classical training and the street direction for shaping me as a dancer.

Evgeny Kalachev, 25 years old, artist of the theater “Provincial Dances”:

– As a child, I was engaged in artistic gymnastics in my native Samara for two years. But I had to give up: our coach drank and preferred an aggressive type of teaching – he stretched me to the splits to tears, could raise his hand … And the one who was offered in exchange trained until 23.00 – my parents could not pick me up at that time. So I went into ballroom dancing. But already at the age of 13 he left them – he decided to take up a more “courageous” sport – basketball. But a year later he returned to dancing, this time to modern ones.

Later, in the same place, in Samara, I started dancing at the Scrim Theater of Contemporary Choreography. My colleagues left for Yekaterinburg to see Tatyana Baganova, the head of the Provincial Dances Theater. And a year later they called me too. That year Baganova staged Sacred Spring at the Bolshoi Theater, and I, like many, dreamed of getting to her: if I’m not mistaken, she is the first Russian choreographer of contemporary dance accepted by the Bolshoi. I was then very inspired by the opportunity to work with her and, of course, went to the casting. He passed it successfully and stayed in the theater.

At that time, there were plenty of dancers, so I only trained for six months. But working with this smartest woman was already my dance miracle! Without her, I would have remained just a capable boy. And now I am a good dancer of modern choreography, at least for the Russian level. Therefore, of course, the main reason for participating in the TNT project was to tell the audience about our theater “Provincial Dances” – a small gesture of gratitude to Tatyana.

I came to “DANCES” for the first time, I had never participated in such shows before. I tried to invite colleagues from the Provincial Dances Theater with me to the casting, but they all gave up in Russian. In addition, on the day of the casting in Yekaterinburg, we were on tour in St. Petersburg, so to participate in the show, we had to go to Moscow or another city – a casting participant. Therefore, only one representative of the theater came – me.

At the casting, I began to worry only when my turn came: I do not know how to dance street directions at all, I do not believe these movements, I do not feel them – I could easily be kicked out. I cannot now disclose the result of my performance, but Miguel said that Baganova is his favorite Russian choreographer.

Anastasia Agapitova (Nastya Lex), 18 years old, student of USUE-SINKH, video blogger:

– I am a video blogger, I have my own dance channel. I repeat the choreography of the stars, and then I do video tutorials for these dances. I have over 10 subscribers and over half a million views – so people love it. I have a base for dancing: from the age of three I was engaged in sports aerobics, even became a world champion. But after the injury, she quit. A little over a year ago, I decided to become a video blogger. I loved dancing all my life, so I didn’t have to think long about the topic.

I also study at USUE-SINKh under an abbreviated program. She has already completed three courses in land and property relations and has now switched to business and computer science.

This year was my third attempt to get to the “DANCES” – the previous two “chopped off” at the stage of preliminary casting. The third time I went to television. I repeated the dance of Tatyana Ryzhova, who was a participant in the second season of the show “DANCES”. The subscribers of my channel helped me to choose the dance. As soon as I found out about the casting, I asked the audience for help. Preparing for about two weeks at home. But, alas, I didn’t get into the project … I was upset, but not much – this is a huge experience, I will continue to work, because I am not a professional, but a self-taught dancer. I just watch videos, look for dances, train on my own. I will definitely come next season!

Milena Sologub, 18 years old, dancer:

– Even at the age of 8-10 I was constantly listening to various hip-hop, r`n`b music. I especially liked the Black Eyed Peas group – even then I started repeating the movements from their videos and dancing. We lived at that time in Krasnoturinsk, where at that time there were no dance sections. But after a few years my family moved to Yekaterinburg, and when the question arose what I would like to do, the answer was: “Of course, dancing!”

At the age of 13, I went to one of the dance studios in Yekaterinburg in the direction of hip-hop. After a year of classes, I had the feeling that this was serious and for a long time. I started attending several more dance schools at the same time, getting to know different styles. So I got acquainted with the direction of popping. The first impression was: “Lord, this is unrealistically difficult!” But the more I mastered popping, the more I liked it. I just fell in love with the beauty of this dance and was ready to stand by the mirror for hours, practicing every movement.

Alas, this direction is poorly developed in Yekaterinburg. And from the age of 16 I began to travel to Moscow and St. Petersburg for the necessary experience. At the moment, I have just finished 11th grade. Participation in the DANCES project is happiness and good luck. It gave a huge motivation to grow, to discover even more opportunities. It was not easy at the casting, but I tried to abstract myself from worries and worries – I had a goal to which I went with a firm conviction: “We need to do everything possible here and now. You need to use the chance that fate has given you to the maximum. “
