Woman’s Day continues to try on the crown of the Miss Yekaterinburg 2016 contest for the participants. Anastasia Krosikova and Anastasia Klimenko dropped out of the competition last week. Which of the girls has a chance to win? We watch, read and guess!

Who: Master’s student at UrFU
– I really love risk and adrenaline. One winter my parents and I went snowboarding and skiing. They already knew how to skate, and I haven’t yet, so Mom and Dad asked the vacationers to teach me how to snowboard. And they advised me to climb the highest mountain and just go down from it. I did just that … In the middle of the path came fear and realization: something is going wrong. I stopped. It’s good that a real instructor came, took me off this mountain and taught me how to ride on a small training slide. To date, I have skated for the third season and I feel confident on the board.
I come from the city of Nevyansk, and study in Yekaterinburg. This is my first time participating in such a big competition as Miss Yekaterinburg. Relatives and friends support me. Recently, the girls and I had a task that needs to be completed together with their parents. It was very pleasant when my father and mother came from Nevyansk to help me! This was a very important moment for me.
Who: Student of the Institute of International Relations and Shanghai Engineering University
– I have a great modeling past: for 5 years I worked as a model in Europe and Asia. But I am going to the Miss Yekaterinburg contest for the first time, this is my childhood dream. From the age of 12, I watched the preparations for the competition and the final. I was looking forward to my 18th birthday to enter the competition myself. But when the time came, it so happened that I was studying in Shanghai. This year everything worked out.
My parents live outside the city, but despite this, we call each other every morning, they support me. They are going to come to the final.
In the classroom, I like yoga most of all – for me this is a new direction, I have never done it before. Despite the fact that while my fashion show leaves much to be desired, even in these classes I enjoy. Overcoming difficulties only makes me stronger – I am determined to win.
Anastasia Ismailova, 19 years old
Who: student of UrFU
– My last victory (besides the fact that I got to “Miss Yekaterinburg”) was admission to a budgetary place at UrFU at the Faculty of Advertising and Public Relations. Even in the admissions committee they told me that it is extremely difficult to enter the budget – there are too few places. But I passed the exam with high scores and was able to get into the top ranking of applicants.
I feel my personal growth in the competition every day. For example, before I was not so good at walking in heels, but now, after several weeks of classes, I began to feel confident. Thank you parents for your support! They can pick me up at the end of the day, putting all their business aside. Dad gave flowers a couple of times to please me. If I ask to cook healthy food for the day, my mother never refuses – she understands that I am tired.
Who: designer of heat and gas supply, ventilation and air conditioning systems
– My brightest impressions of recent years are a trip to America. I worked there, studied and simultaneously traveled around the country for three months. It was an unforgettable time! The city of Chicago impressed me the most. When I arrived there, I realized that I wanted to live there. Now my dream is to move to Chicago.
Since I really love to travel, the Miss Yekaterinburg contest for me is a kind of journey into the world of self-development and self-improvement. I began to monitor my gait more in order to look more graceful on stage. My parents support me not only morally, but also physically. Before the competition, I had back problems, so now at the end of the day there are pains. To take them off, my mother gives me a massage.
