Parthenocarpic cucumbers: varieties
Parthenocarpic cucumbers are a special group of hybrids. Find out more about it and, perhaps, you will want to grow these particular cucumbers in your country house.
What are parthenocarpic cucumbers
The main feature of this group is that it does not require pollination. Don’t confuse these hybrid cucumbers with self-pollinating cucumbers, this is a completely different process that requires flowers with pistils and stamens. Parthenocarpic varieties do not need pollination at all. You can recognize these varieties by the lack of seeds.
This is the ideal group of bee-free greenhouses. It makes no sense to grow them outdoors. In addition, if you grow such hybrid varieties outdoors and subject them to pollination, the cucumbers will turn out to be crooked, unattractive.
