Educators and parents achieve the same goal – the correct development and education of the child. Therefore, they must interact harmoniously, together to solve and discuss important issues. For this, there are collective meetings. Parents’ meetings in the middle group of the kindergarten are held 3-4 times a year.
The event is held according to the personal program of each institution. The timing is usually the same for everyone. The first meeting is held in September, at the beginning of the “school” year. The second is in winter, before the New Year holidays. The third is in the spring, and the date of the fourth is set by the educators as needed.
The form of holding is different, it is chosen depending on the topic of the meeting, and also in each garden it can be different:
- Meeting only for parents and educators.
- Meeting of educators and members of the parent committee.
- An event held with children.
It can be official or playable. On average, the duration of a meeting is 45 minutes – this is the optimal time to have time to discuss pressing problems and not to distract parents from their affairs for a long time.
The meeting leads to the desired result if the parents are active and everyone participates in the discussion, do not be afraid to ask questions and enter into discussions when solving common problems.
They discuss organizational nuances, issues on the upbringing and development of a child, namely:
- At the first meeting, a plan for upcoming classes with the kids is discussed. Caregivers should advise parents on what work to do with their children at home. After all, the child receives basic education in the family, kindergartens are only assistants. They can also recommend special textbooks for the middle group, which children need to study.
- At the next lesson in mid or late December, preliminary results on the assimilation of the material and the progress of the children are summed up. The educators will point out the weaknesses where you need to work and tighten the baby.
- In the spring meeting, you can find out what the child has learned, whether the plan has been fulfilled, or is being abandoned. Parents can conclude whether the caregivers’ intentions are the same as the outcome, and together they can figure out what the problem is and how it can be corrected.
The topic of the meeting is also often the financial side. For the kindergarten, you may need some kind of furniture or bed linen, about which the parents will notify the parents. Material needs are discussed on the eve of the holidays – the New Year or graduation.
