PSYchology

Spouses-journalists Katerina Antonova and Ilya Nosyrev (Ilya is a regular contributor to our website Psychologies.ru) started keeping a diary when their two daughters were born. Three years later, a son appeared, and the diaries became even more necessary. They allowed parents to somehow organize in their own heads those fears, doubts, anxieties and endless questions that fell on them every day. Sixteen chapters of the «Diaries» — sixteen acute life issues and everyday adventures of this family. How to maintain personal space in a stressful situation? How to sleep after a business trip, if twin daughters play «dad-constructor»? How to react if the daughter desperately screams that her mother is bad? Parents — mom and dad — think about the same thing in different ways. Mom is emotional and decisive, dad is thoughtful and reasonable. But honest introspection helps both find compromises, develop flexibility in dealing with children, and never make a molehill out of a fly.
