Pampas golden ale (Pampeana golden ale)

An Argentinean version of a blonde ale created with a lack of ingredients. The producers had at their disposal only classic Pils malt, Cascade hops, English dry yeast. In the original, the beer is called Dorada Pampeana, that is, golden pampas.

This is a top-fermented beer, quite drinkable, with a pronounced malt profile and obvious fruity notes. The hop character is weak, the balance is not always harmonious.

Despite the strong maltiness, additional caramel, nutty, toasty nuances almost never appear. The finish is usually sweet.

The drink has a golden color. Forms a weak but persistent foam in the glass. This is a light-bodied, perceptibly carbonated drink. The tongue feels soft, round, not bitter and does not knit.

It is made on the basis of light malt, American or British yeast. The cold ripening method is preferred.
