In this tutorial, we’ll show you how to insert a page break in Excel to indicate where a new page will start in a printed copy.
To insert a horizontal page break, follow the instructions below:
- Select the first line of the new page.
- On the Advanced tab Page Layout (Page Layout), click Breaks (Breaks), select Insert Page Break (Insert page break).Excel will display a dotted line so you can see where the new page starts.
- To open a preview, click on the button Print (Print) tab Fillet (File).
Note: To remove a page break, select the cell on the border of the break, click Breaks (Breaks) > Remove Page Break (Remove page break). To remove all manual page breaks, click Breaks (Breaks) > Reset All Page Breaks (Reset page breaks).
Similarly, you can select a column to insert a vertical page break.
