• Emergency protection. There is a multi-level security system. Device overheating or sudden fire is excluded. Automation controls the presence of draft and flame: at the slightest problem in the chimney or on the burner, the gas supply will be suspended and the equipment turned off. If the electricity is turned off, there is no failure of the settings – the programmer will remember the previous mode of operation and, starting the boiler, will resume operation at the previous settings. The equipment is equipped with an air valve, due to which air is released from the system – “plugs” that prevent uniform heating of the room are removed.
• Offline work. A distinctive feature of the Westen models is their exceptional simplicity of design. At the same time, the devices are equipped with an effective control system. The operation of the equipment practically does not require user intervention. If you install a temperature sensor, the automation will adjust the operating mode, preventing overheating or cooling of the premises. The user can also install a remote thermostat that will monitor the temperature in order to effectively control the heating of the coolant.
• Self-diagnosis. The system periodically checks the operation of all nodes. When a problem is detected, the system displays information about the problem. The decoding of fault codes is contained in the operating instructions.

Features of operation

The main difference between all Westen wall heaters is full automatic control of heating and hot water. You can simultaneously adjust the heating of the coolant and water in the DHW system. Versions with built-in boiler automatically control the water temperature.

Westen heaters are excellent equipment, worthy of European quality. Turbocharged versions are especially appreciated, having small dimensions and the ability to discharge exhaust gases through coaxial pipes – without a traditional chimney, they are ideal for installation in apartments. Equipment “Westen” occupies one of the leading places in the rating of demand among the products of its class.

The disadvantage of these Italian heaters is the high cost of repairs. For troubleshooting, you must contact the service center directly. If there is no licensed service in the area where the consumer lives, it is not worth buying Westen brand boilers: only a qualified specialist can set up and regulate them. In addition, it may take a long time for the delivery of the spare part – up to several months.
