Gazlux gas boilers are produced by the Russian company GAZLUX Trade. They are developed by her, and their company produces them in China. The main advantage of these heaters over European competitors is their adaptability to the peculiarities of the Russian climate, gas and water supply. Gazlux heaters are equipped with a heat exchanger that is resistant to water with increased hardness, burners that work properly with unstable gas pressure, and automation that can withstand power surges.

About Us

GAZLUX Trade LLC is a Moscow-based company founded in 2006. The company was launched with the aim of producing safe and efficient heating equipment, provided with after-sales service throughout the Russian Federation. Today only in Russia there are about half a thousand service centers. The company produces wall-mounted and combined boilers that meet all the requirements of Gosgortekhnadzor.

Marking

Each model has a alphanumeric marking. For example, Gazlux Economy B-18-C1 is a device of the Economy series. The firebox is open. The number indicates the thermal power, on which the heating area depends. When choosing a suitable heat output, use the ratio – 1000 W for every 10 square meters. Therefore, when you see the number 18 in the marking, you can understand that the boiler is enough to heat 180 m², no more.

In the Standard B-24-T1 model, the marking indicates the presence of a fan responsible for the removal of exhaust gases. If the marking contains the letter F, then the device is equipped with a unit that will prevent the coolant from freezing.

Models overview

The Gazlux brand offers only wall-mounted boilers, it does not produce floor versions. All models are easy to use, durable, they do not have complex parts, which increase the cost of repairs. All models are double sided. They function in the most severe frosts, endure pressure drops in water and gas pipelines.

The Gazlux brand represents three classes of heaters:

  • economy. This is the most requested version. Convenient and simple operation, clear mechanical control – there are rotary controls. Parallel heating of the heat carrier and water in the hot water supply. The throughput of the water circuit is 11 liters per minute. The developers have provided for the parallel inclusion of two points of water intake. Designed for heating 150–180 m². The furnace is open or closed.
  • Standard. It is distinguished from the Economy version by an improved control panel. Instead of mechanical handles – a keypad. Additional equipment includes a daily programmer. “Standard” has an increased throughput – 13,8 l / min. Heating area – up to 240 m².
  • premium. The key point is convenient operation and automatic control. Protection against emergencies and self-diagnosis are provided, as well as setting the temperature regime for the week ahead. It is allowed to simultaneously connect to the hot water supply at once three points of water intake. Hinged modifications “Premium” heat up to 300 m².

Modifications are equipped with a special magnetic device, due to which scale does not form. The latter is the main reason that reduces the life of gas equipment.

GAZECO Standard

24-C-1 and 24-T-1 with open and closed firebox respectively. Design features:

  • Equipped with a coaxial bithermic heat exchanger. Material – copper.
  • Economical fuel consumption and maintaining a stable temperature due to automatic power control.
  • Auto ignition and flame control.
  • Equipped with a three-speed pump, a daily timer, an expansion tank (6 l), a pressure gauge, a smoke exhaust fan, a safety valve.
  • Self-diagnosis, displaying error codes on the screen.
  • Use of a coaxial or separate flue system.
  • When the fire is extinguished, the apparatus overheats and at low pressure, protection is triggered, the fuel supply automatically stops.
  • Quiet operation due to the use of special sensors with reduced noise.
  • If necessary, a room thermostat is connected.

GAZECO Economy 18-T-1   

Wall-mounted double-circuit apparatus. Equipped with a circulation pump. Specifications:

GAZLUX Premium

The maximum heat output of the modification is 30 kW. Two versions are presented – B-30-T1 and B-30-T1-F. Both have a closed firebox. Model B-30-T1-F also has an annular lock to prevent freezing of the system in the event of a power failure. Water heating capacity – up to 17,2 l / min. Stable temperature due to power modulation. The heat exchanger is coaxial bithermic.

  • Heat output – 30 W.
  • The maximum fuel consumption is 3,79 m³/h.

Mounting and strapping

Both processes are quite fast if the following rules are observed:

  • Installation is carried out by a specialized team. The minimum pressure in the gas pipeline is adjusted by the employees of the service center. They will also explain how to set the temperature. The instructions included with each model can also help with this. If necessary, adjust the gas valve.
  • Proper organization of smoke exhaust. Often boilers do not work due to lack of traction. A sensor is installed in the smoke exhaust system, which works at low pressure. When the thrust drops to critical parameters, the fuel supply stops, and a notification about the problem appears on the screen.
  • The coaxial chimney should be installed in accordance with SNiP, based on the manufacturer’s recommendations. During the development of the device, provision was made for ensuring normal draft and forcing oxygen through a coaxial chimney.
  • Despite the minimum number of nodes dependent on the mains, the control unit is unstable in the event of power surges. To prevent its failure, the manufacturer recommends installing a UPS.

Steel heat exchangers resistant to aggressive water with high rigidity. This increases the strength of the assembly and the durability of the entire apparatus.

Terms of Use

Gazlux models are reliable, but in terms of safety they are inferior to European competitors. To prevent dangerous situations, it is recommended:

  • Pay close attention to the warnings displayed on the screen. The proposals of “craftsmen” who propose to block protective automation should be answered with a categorical refusal. Disabling security systems can lead to emergencies.
  • Equip the equipment with elements that control the heating of rooms. Thanks to the temperature sensor, energy resources are saved, overheating of the coolant is prevented.
  • The smoke exhaust system, which takes into account the technical parameters of the boilers, has special hatches and modules for the elimination of condensate.

Malfunctions

The electronic board has to control the start-up and shutdown of the device, it also manages the processes related to its operation. The next task of the board is to prevent accidents. Possible faults:

  • Exhaust gases are poorly removed.
  • Burnt burner.
  • Not enough pressure in the water circuit.
  • There is a critical overheating of the coolant.

The above problems are unacceptably dangerous. When such situations occur, the operation of the heaters is promptly blocked. It happens that failures occur due to reasons beyond the control of the boiler – for example, due to interruptions in the gas pipeline or due to freezing of the chimney. Faults are displayed differently (this depends on the modification):

  • a combination of illuminated indicator lights;
  • digital code on the screen.

Fault warning

In these models, malfunctions are signaled by indicator lights. When the machine is in normal operation, the LED lights indicate the current power level. Errors:

E1 – the indicator located at the bottom blinks red at a frequency of once per second. The 1st LED indicator lights up at the top. The cause of the malfunction is the sensor. In atmospheric versions – flue gas temperatures, in turbocharged versions – pressure drop. Difficult or impossible removal of exhaust gases can also provoke a malfunction.

You need to make sure:

  • in the free passage of gases through the inlet and outlet pipelines;
  • in the uninterrupted operation of fans;
  • that the tubes connected to the differential pressure sensor are in good condition and not clogged.

E2. At the bottom, a red paw is lit, at the top – the 2nd LED. Signal about the breakdown of the temperature sensor in the heating system. To check NTC sensors, you need to measure the resistance. Under the conditions of the average temperature in housing, its approximate value is 10 kOhm. The higher the heat, the lower the resistance. Having found significant deviations, we can conclude: the sensor is broken and should be changed.

E3. The red light below came on. Above is the 3rd LED power indicator. The problem is similar to the previous one, but for the DHW temperature sensor.

E4. Below is a red light. Above is the 4th indicator. The reason is that the coolant has heated up to more than 92 degrees Celsius. Most often, overheating is caused by insufficient circulation of the coolant, which provokes:

  • breakdown of the pump;
  • poor permeability through the heat exchanger;
  • air pockets.

E6. Below – a red LED, above – the 1st and 5th power indicators. The flame on the burner is not detected on the control unit. To prevent an accident, automation controls the flame. This is done using a special ionization electrode. If there is a flame, a small electric current is registered by the board through the electrode, if it does not register, then the boiler turned off by mistake. The reason of that:

  • there is no normal gas supply – due to a drop in pressure, burner contamination, etc .;
  • ignition problems;
  • failure of the ionization electrode – contaminated, closed to the case.

E7. Below – a red light, above – the 2nd and 5th LEDs are flashing. The electronic board registers combustion after the gas valve closes. Therefore, either the latter is faulty, or there are problems with the electronic board.

Compact, hanging on the wall, taking up minimal space. Worked for two and a half years without problems, and then problems began. The lights are constantly flashing, a squeak is heard, it signals that there is a malfunction in the smoke exhaust system.

GAZLUX W-16-T2-F: Fedor G., Voronezh

It has good hot water performance. Just manage. There is frost protection. The downside is poor build quality. Loose wires, loose rubber seal, made in China, in a word. Error E2 regularly appears – lack of air. There is no storage tank, about 7–8 seconds after the tap is opened, cold water flows. Two years later, an E3 error began to appear – overheating. Replaced all sensors, but the problem was not solved. Then the copper heat exchanger burned out, had to be replaced, and it costs 10 thousand. The device itself costs 23 thousand.

Gazlux boilers attract consumers who are interested in long-term operation of gas equipment and do not need numerous functions provided for in imported counterparts. These are inexpensive and simple heaters designed for the average buyer.
