Most of the patients who experienced adverse vaccine reactions did not require hospitalization. There were also people who were discharged home after several hours of observation. In some cases, however, the development of NOP after vaccination required hospitalization (this does not mean, however, that the cause of all of them was vaccination). It took place, inter alia, in patients with: stroke, epilepsy, cardiac arrhythmias, attacks of ventricular tachycardia, atrial flutter, left-sided paresis and weakened muscle strength.

Cases of deaths recorded in the NOP report

Fatalities have also been reported shortly after receiving a dose of the vaccine. By February 5, there were 12 of them. Specialists emphasize that it is not possible to completely eliminate the risk associated with vaccination, not only the one against COVID-19, but all of them. Even so, the risk of contracting COVID-19 is much greater than the risk of vaccine complications. The Ministry of Health reminds that everyone who has been vaccinated against COVID-19 remains under surveillance at the vaccination point. “As a result, in the event of any disturbing symptom, those in need can receive quick and professional help”.
