It is difficult to imagine a Russian feast without a full-fledged hot one, for example, baked beef in foil. Prepared in this way, it turns out to be juicy, tender and aromatic, as well as dietary. The last important aspect makes this dish truly indispensable for a festive table, when there is a high risk of gaining extra pounds. Beef in foil will allow the hostess to have fun, without thinking about diet, and at the same time deliciously feed the whole family and guests.

You will need the ingredients: – 500 g of beef in a piece; – 1 head of garlic; – 1 medium onion; – 2 tablespoons. 3% vinegar solution; – 1/4 tsp each. caraway seeds, coriander, black pepper and sesame seeds; – 2 tsp. vegetable oil; – 1 tsp. fine salt (no slide).

For baking beef, it is better to take a neck or shoulder blade. They have thin layers of fat, which means that the finished dish will be more juicy.

Rinse the meat, remove the films and dry with a paper towel. Drizzle with vinegar and set aside for 15 minutes. Meanwhile, peel the onion and cut into half rings, and cut the garlic cloves into 2-3 pieces each. Make frequent, deep cuts in the beef with a narrow knife and lash with garlic. Then rub the surface of the future boiled pork with salt and pepper, grease with vegetable oil and sprinkle with spices.

Turn on the oven and let it heat up to 200-220 ° C. Place a sheet of foil on a baking sheet, place prepared beef in its center and cover it with onion half rings. Wrap the piece of meat very carefully so that there are no holes for steam to escape and juice outflow. Place the mirrored bundle in the hot oven for 45 minutes. Then slightly open the top of the foil and put the beef in the oven again for a delicious crust for 5-10 minutes.

Baked beef with sea salt

When cooking meat in foil in the oven, it is steamed and less tough. To make the beef even softer, you can pre-soak it for several hours in a special marinade, for example, based on soy sauce.

Ingredients: – 700 g of beef in one piece; – 50 g of sea salt; – 150 ml of classic soy sauce; – 4 cloves of garlic; – 2 onions; – 1/3 tsp each. paprika, coriander, turmeric; – 2 bay leaves.

Rinse the beef, dry and rub with sea salt and spices. Make cuts and sprinkle the meat with chopped garlic cloves. Place it in a deep bowl slightly larger than the size of the piece and pour over the soy sauce. Cover the dishes with a lid, but not tightly, and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.

Place the marinated beef in the center of the foil rectangle on the baking sheet. Cut the onion into half rings and lay a layer on the meat, put the bay leaf. Wrap the silver paper, secure the ends and send the food to bake for 40-50 minutes.
