The white, almost boneless meat of hake fish is popular with housewives. And for good reason, because it can be prepared according to many recipes. For example, bake fillets with vegetables in the oven or fish in pieces in sour cream with mustard.

Hake in sour cream-mustard sauce

You will need: – 2 fish; – 1 tsp. mustard: – 2-3 tbsp. l. sour cream; – 2 cloves of garlic; – 2 tbsp. l. ground crackers; – Dill; – pepper and salt.

Usually hake fish is sold without heads and entrails, but all the same, it must not only be well cleaned of small scales, but also remove the film from the abdomen. Then wash the fish, dry it a little with a paper towel and separate the fillets. Rub the meat with a mixture of salt and pepper. Spread the foil on a baking sheet, grease it with vegetable oil, put the fish fillets, having previously rolled them in ground breadcrumbs.

Next, you need to prepare the sauce. Combine crushed garlic, sour cream, mustard, chopped dill, pepper and salt. Stir and pour over fish. Wrap the foil and bake the hake for 20 minutes in a hot oven (200 degrees).

Hake baked with vegetables

You will need: – 1 kg of fish; – 2 carrots; – 1 onion; – 3 tomatoes; – half a lemon; – vegetable oil; – pepper and salt.

Peel the hake and wash. Separate the fillet, grate it with a mixture of salt and black pepper, sprinkle with lemon juice, wrap in plastic wrap and leave to marinate for 30 minutes.

Prepare the vegetables during this time. Wash and peel the carrots, grate them on a coarse grater. Wash the tomatoes, wipe them off and cut into circles. It is better to take small, dense plum-shaped tomatoes. Chop the onion.

Heat oil in a skillet and sauté the carrots and onions. Remove the hake fillet from the cling film, cut into portions. Put the foil on a baking sheet, place a piece of fish on it, put the fried vegetables on the fish, and on them 2 cups of tomatoes. Wrap the foil. Do this with all the fillets and place in the oven. Baking the fish will take about 25 minutes at 180 degrees. The result is a delicious dietary meal.

Peel the fish and separate the fillets. Cut it into small pieces, put on a baking sheet, greased with vegetable oil. Season with salt and pepper. Peel the carrots and grate them in a layer directly onto the fish.

Carrots can be pre-fried in vegetable oil

Put the onion rings on the carrots, grate hard cheese on top. Top with a mixture of homemade mayonnaise and sour cream. Place the baking sheet in the oven at 180 degrees and cook for half an hour. Serve the baked hake fillet hot, although it can be served cold as an appetizer.

Homemade mayonnaise cooks quickly. To do this, beat the yolk with a mixer, a little mustard, ½ tsp. apple cider vinegar, salt and ground black pepper. Pour in 120 ml of sunflower or olive oil in a thin stream, whisking continuously. The sauce will thicken.
