Outdoor games for children at the age of 10 are not only fun, but also useful. This is a great alternative to sports training.
One of the exciting games for the warm season is “mirror”. Children stand in a row, and the leader stands in front of them. He begins to show movements like jumps and bends, and the rest repeat after him, but in a mirror image. Whoever made a mistake is eliminated. The next leader is the one who remained the last and did not drop out.
Another game is called “fishing”. You will need a rope about 4 m long and tie a sandbag to the end. Children should stand in a circle, and the leader (fisherman) – in the center. He spins the rope at knee level, and the rest must step over or jump over it. Whoever got hit is caught and dropped out. The most agile uncaught “fish” wins.
Winter is not a reason to give up fun with friends. Here are 3 fun games for this time of year:
- Two in the snow. Draw a circle about 2 m wide. Make 2 flat snowballs and place them on the heads of the children. Let them hide their hands behind their backs and try to either push the opponent out of the circle or make him drop the snowball.
- Fill the hole. Dig 2 large holes in the snow and prepare a lot of snowballs. On command, children must throw snowballs into the pits. 1 hit – 1 point. Whoever scored 10 points won.
- Who’s next? Line up the children with a snowball. On command, children must throw a snowball. Whoever threw further is the winner.
Also, do not forget that on snowy days you can make snowmen and go sledding with the little ones.
This is one of the child’s favorite sports equipment. Here’s how you can use it in games:
- Maximum bounce. Children should throw a tennis ball against the wall. Whose ball bounces farther, he won.
- Stop! Arrange the children in a circle and assign a number to each. The driver must go to the center and forcefully throw a tennis ball on the ground, shouting out one of the numbers. The one whose number was called must grab the ball and shout “Stop!” The participants freeze, and the driver throws a ball at one of them. He can dodge a blow without leaving the place. If the driver missed, he again catches the ball and shouts “Stop!”
Also, children can play team games with this sports equipment, for example, football, basketball, volleyball.
Involve more kids in outdoor activities. In the company of peers, your child will have more fun. Offer the kids different games to keep them interested.
