Extensions are a change in role behavior that plays on complementarity and makes our communication with him more harmonious. For example, You are a Child — I am a Child — this is an adjustment. You are the Parent — I am the Child — this is an extension (an extension from below). Or it is physically convenient to sit next to each other, to settle down — so that it is convenient for both of us.

Extensions and adjustments

Adjustments are changes in our behavior that make us more like an interlocutor and unconsciously feel like you are “Friends and foes”, create better contact and trust between you.

He took out a cigarette — you clicked the lighter.

And all in one musical rhythm, in one breath!

Or — so you approached a friend and hugged him comfortably by the shoulders. Or the girl nestled comfortably on his shoulder. But the wife approached the inflated husband from behind, put her hands on his tense shoulders, said “You are good!”, Gently pressed against him and flowed around his angry back.

So try to argue with her after that!

The active version of the extension is an extension through an organizing provocation: he lay down in front of a person so that he wanted to sit down and hug, he wanted to settle down himself. If he sits next to him with a closed cross, sit also, but with an open cross.

When people laugh together, the harmony of the couple is visible through mutual extensions: the movements are almost synchronous. Watch the video from the film «Major Payne».
