The pubalgia of sportsmen has been over-publicized, but it is a genuine medical problem which, in high-level sportsmen, in particular in footballers, can have disastrous repercussions, and also in young people who can, in this cases, being forced to give up their careers. The stakes are therefore very high. For this, it is imperative that prevention strategies be put in place and that examinations be carried out by experts in this complex pathology.
