Otrex 600 is used to reduce the symptoms associated with venous insufficiency in the lower extremities: the feeling of heaviness in the legs, pain, pressure ulcers due to ischemia, and for symptomatic treatment in the case of exacerbation of haemorrhoids.

Otrex 600 – indications and dosage

Otrex 600 is an over-the-counter medication. It reduces the symptoms associated with venous circulation insufficiency of the lower extremities: the feeling of heaviness in the legs, pain, pressure ulcers due to ischemia.

Dosage:

  1. orally 1 tablet / day, in the morning on an empty stomach,
  2. symptomatic treatment in the event of exacerbation of ailments from haemorrhoids. Orally; 2-3 tablets / day during meals.

Otrex 600 and contraindications

A contraindication to taking Otrex 600 is hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients of the preparation.

Otrex 600 – warnings

  1. Consult your doctor if there is no improvement during the treatment of haemorrhagic exacerbations.
  2. If the discomfort and fragility of the blood vessels do not improve within 15 days, a doctor should be consulted.
  3. It is recommended to use additional non-pharmacological treatment (e.g. wearing special stockings to facilitate blood flow, avoiding sun exposure, heating, standing for long periods, being overweight).
  4. Before using Otrex 600 during pregnancy or breastfeeding, consult your doctor.
  5. Pregnant women may use Otrex 600 only if the doctor considers it necessary.
  6. Breastfeeding women should not use the drug.

Otrex 600 – side effects

In some cases: gastrointestinal disorders (diarrhea, nausea, vomiting).
