Ostercal 1250 D is used to supplement the diet with calcium and vitamin. D3 in states of increased demand or in the case of a diet low in calcium and vitamin. D3, during pregnancy and breastfeeding, and during intensive growth. The supplement is in the form of tablets to be taken orally.

SUBSTANCE 1 tablet contains: 0,5 g of calcium (1,25 g of calcium carbonate from oyster shells), 0,003125 mg of vit. D3

Ostercal 1250 D – indications and dosage

Ostercal 1250 D is recommended for dietary use:

1. as a dietary supplement with calcium and vit. D3 in the case of increased demand or in the case of a diet low in calcium and vitamin. D3,
2. in pregnant and breastfeeding women,
3. during the period of intensive growth,
4. in osteoporosis,
5. in injuries,
6. in fractures,
7. in the softening of the bones.

Dosage

Ostercal 1250 D is in the form of tablets to be taken orally. Use the supplement before a meal.

1. Adults and children after the age of 12: 1-2 tablets / day.

Ostercal 1250 D and contraindications

Contraindications to the use of Ostercal 1250 D are:

1. hypersensitivity to any of its ingredients,
2. hypercalcemia,
3. hiperkalciuria,
4. kidney failure
5. taking other substances containing calcium or vitamin D3 at the same time.

Ostercal 1250 D – warnings

1. People taking antibiotics from the tetracycline group or digitalis glycosides should not use Ostercal 1250 D.
2. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose of the preparation.
3. The supplement should not be used parenterally.
4. People struggling with nephrolithiasis, renal failure or hyperparathyroidism should individually consult the dose of the supplement with a doctor.
5. Keep the product at room temperature, in a dry place out of the reach of children.
