Osteogenone is a drug used to treat osteoporosis resulting from a variety of factors. It is taken by elderly people, postmenopausal women and patients who previously took steroids; It is also used to regulate the calcium-phosphate balance in pregnant and breastfeeding women. Sometimes it is also an auxiliary drug, supporting the healing of a broken bone.
