The Big Lebowski star Jeff Bridges said he was sick. But he does not despair, and advises fans not to lose heart too.
Jeff Bridges is a true Hollywood legend. Behind the shoulders of a 70-year-old man is shooting in dozens of popular films and TV series. Most of all, the artist is familiar to the public for his roles in films such as “The Big Lebowski” (1998), “Iron Man” (2008) and “Crazy Heart” (2009).
By the way, for his role in the last of these films, Jeff even received an Oscar and became the best actor in 2010.
All the last time, Bridges has been actively acting in films. However, now he will have to take a forced pause in his work.
The actor said that he was diagnosed with a malignant tumor of lymphoma – an aggressive form of cancer that affects the body’s immune system.
He personally tweeted the diagnosis. He also said that he did not give up due to illness and hoped for a positive result.
“As the Dude would say (Jeff’s character in the movie “The Big Lebowski” – approx. Healthy Food Near Me), there was a new d *****. I was diagnosed with lymphoma. And, although this is a serious disease, I was lucky, I have an excellent team of doctors and their prognosis is positive, ”said the man.
According to Bridges, he was already prescribed treatment and began courses of procedures and drugs.
“I will keep you updated on my recovery,” the actor promised.
Fans hope that Jeff will be able to overcome cancer and reappear on the screens. Now he needs to especially carefully follow the rules of isolation and beware of coronavirus infection.
