This premium drink is remembered at first sight due to good design work. The narrow, tall bottle is stylish and original with a dark gray coating to minimize sun exposure, and the platinum eagle embossed logo will not let you forget the name. The brand belongs to the Russian group of companies Jupiter.
Historical reference. The Jupiter company was founded in 1991, but at first it was a distribution company – it was engaged in the sale of Russian alcohol abroad and the promotion of new brands. But in 1998, “Jupiter” got its own site – the Ulyanovsk distillery. And the company launched the production of its own brands.
The Ulyanovsk plant is already old – it is 150 years old, but after joining the group of companies, the enterprise carried out a large-scale reconstruction:
- built container and water treatment workshops;
- created an alcohol receiving department;
- launched a new power plant.
In 2005-2006, 4 modern production lines with Italian equipment were installed at the plant. The company now has its own production and technical laboratory with the latest technology from Hewlett-Packard. As a result of reconstruction and modernization, the Ulyanovsk Distillery in 2016 entered the top five largest Russian alcohol producers.
Orloff production features
Distillation of alcohols takes place in the “5 circle” mode, this is a fivefold distillation.
Alpha alcohol and melted spring water are processed before mixing – they go through the Full diffusion process, patented by the company.
The blend of the drink is left in the dark for 5 weeks, so harmonization of taste and aroma is ensured.
When bottling, vodka undergoes oxygen diffusion – it is saturated with oxygen, which reduces the possibility of a hangover even with an excessive dose.
Characteristics of vodka “Orloff”
Orloff (40%) is a premium crystal clear vodka with neutral organoleptic characteristics. The absence of aroma, including vodka, makes the drink an excellent ingredient for alcoholic cocktails, which is why bartenders often use Orloff in their experiments. Serving temperature is not higher than +6 °C. Restaurateurs recommend serving the drink with game, veal steaks, and grilled pork. Vodka is combined with cold appetizers and pickles. It can also be served as an aperitif with a slice of lemon, olives or pickled cucumber.
