As Coco Chanel used to say: “Hands are a woman’s calling card.” Let’s figure it out, together with an expert, which manicure is now relevant, and which design is better to forget for now.

– Now more and more girls are making sequins to create a festive mood for the New Year. The rest of the year, allow yourself to highlight 1-2 fingers with sparkles, but now that’s all. Some people think that glitter lasts longer due to the fact that the nail becomes harder, but I do not see the difference.
– This is my favorite. Now, clear lines and shapes are done more often than monograms. Because this design looks stylish and not flashy. For example, you can make a simple nude varnish and add a pattern as a highlight.
– There are many tutorials on YouTube on how to make a gradient at home using a sponge. But from my experience I can say that the transition made by the device looks much more accurate. This design is most popular in the summer; it is not done at all in the spring and autumn. And in winter they prefer a vertical gradient with white varnish – the effect of frost is created.
– Stones and rhinestones are a design for all time, but now fewer girls are asking to do it. Most are afraid for the durability of the manicure, they think that the stones will fall off or cling to clothes. But if you follow the rules of socks (do not pick them and work with chemistry only with gloves), such a manicure will last until the next coating, that is, about 3 weeks.
– The cat’s eye is definitely an autumn trend. It can be made vertical, horizontal or diagonal. The effect is created with the help of a special varnish (I don’t know, perhaps it contains metal particles), but when you bring the magnet to the nail plate, the sparkles “follow” it. That is, how you hold this magnet, the sequins will have this direction.
– Lunar manicure two years ago was very popular, but recently the hole (the crescent-shaped area at the base of the nail) has been left empty. This is very practical: for example, if you are going on vacation and do not know when you will get to the master again, it is better to leave the hole empty – it will not be noticeable how the nail grows back.
– Painting is loved by older women and brides. Although the latter are gradually moving away from drawings. To create a beautiful painting, you need to take the thinnest brush and use it to paint the desired pattern on the nail covered with gel. Some masters even specially cut the brush for themselves, so that a thin “tail” remains.
– A good alternative to drawing on the nails – it is done quickly, and in terms of wear – the same way. It saves a lot of time. Sliders are paper-based designs that are soaked in water. Then the film is applied to the nail and overlapped on top with two layers of top (gel that fixes the manicure).
– For many, the jacket remains a classic, but, to my surprise, fewer and fewer brides choose this design. In a jacket, you can experiment: make a different form of “smile” (the border after which the nail bed goes into the free edge), a double “smile” or multi-colored. Or leave the nail glossy, and make the “smile” matte. And vice versa.
– How to do it: gel polish is mixed with acrylic, this mixture is painted on a wet nail, sprinkled with acrylic on top and dried in a lamp. Recently, with the help of sand, they like to “take” sweaters on their nails – this creates the illusion of volume and comfort. One of the options for winter manicure.
– Brides love to cover their nails with a solid color and add a little glitter, rhinestone or a small pattern. This lonely manicure is popular at all seasons. Only the shade of the varnish changes. For example, with the onset of cold weather, burgundy, red, brown and black colors have become more popular.
