The popular slogan in modern design “Do it yourself!” (“Do-it-yourself” or DIY) is successfully played in the new vase collection of the French studio FX Balléry. True, the idea of creating an object of art from improvised means served only as an inspiration for the designers.
Vases in the form of water pipes in various sizes, designed for the famous brand Domeau & Pérès, are made in bright colors and covered with glossy varnish.
Designers assure that water vases, like their prototypes, are comfortable, ultramodern, practical and durable. In addition, the collection is a vivid example of how the most familiar household items can turn not only into an original home accessory, but also a wonderful object of aesthetic pleasure.
Vases start at € 100 per piece.
Japanese designer Yuri Fukuda offers his own vision of beauty: he created ceramic vases that cover flowing lava.
