Step 1:
Cut out a large square of green paper that is at least 21cm x 21cm.
Fold the paper in half. Then fold the top part, folding the right edge.

Step 2:
Turn your sheet over and fold the top part in half to mark a central fold.

Step 3:
Flap all four corners of the rectangle toward the center crease.

Step 4:
Fold your sheet in half inward.
Then fold the paper to make a center mark.
/
Step 5:
From this mark, cut a slit of 1 cm on the longest edge.

Step 6:
From the notch, fold each edge.
/
Step 7:
Then separate the longer ones, so as to bring the tips together and get the shape of your animal’s head.

Step 8:
Decorate the head of your animal with the patterns of your choice, using markers or colored pencils.
You can also have fun cutting out, from a white or colored sheet, eyes, a crest, a tongue, ears… that you can color and stick on his head.
