Orange syrup: 3 recipes at home

Ingredients

  1. Orange – 4 pcs.

  2. Sugars – 600 g

  3. Water – 450 ml

Method of preparation

  1. First, cut the oranges in half and squeeze the juice out of them.

  2. After that, cut the oranges together with the skin into small pieces, pour boiling water over and cook for about 10 minutes. Next, strain.

  3. Add sugar to the drained liquid and bring the resulting mass to a boil, then add the squeezed orange juice to the syrup and cook for 15 minutes.

Orange Syrup Recipe Without Peel

Ingredients

  1. Orange – 300 ml

  2. Sugars – 600 g

  3. Water – 600 ml

Method of preparation

  1. Prepare a base syrup of water and sugar.

  2. Add orange juice and simmer over low heat for 10-15 minutes.

  3. Pour into sterile containers and close tightly.

  4. Let cool and send to the refrigerator until required.

Orange Syrup with Wine Vinegar Recipe

Ingredients

  1. Oranges – 4 pcs.

  2. Wine vinegar – 2 tsp

  3. Sugar – 2 kg

  4. Water – 5 glasses

  5. Orange peel – 3-4 tbsp. l.

Method of preparation

  1. Peel the fruit from the peel and as much as possible from the white pulp.

  2. Put peeled fruit in a saucepan, add a glass of water and a spoonful of vinegar. Wait 1 hour for the oranges to fully juice out.

  3. Pour sugar into another container and add 4 cups of water. Bring to a boil.

  4. Add orange juice and grated zest to the pan. Boil 7 minutes.

  5. Add another spoonful of wine vinegar and remove the pan from the stove.

  6. Strain the concentrate through a fine sieve or cheesecloth. The syrup is ready!
