Orange Fireworks Smoothie

This bright orange smoothie gets its rich color from frozen peaches, carrots, and orange juice. Fresh ginger gives the drink a special sparkling taste and aroma.

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups frozen peaches
  • 1 cup of carrot juice
  • 1 cup orange juice
  • 2 teaspoons ground flaxseed, (see Tips & Notes)
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, minced

Preparation:

Place peaches, carrot juice, orange juice, flaxseeds, and ginger in a food processor. Make a smooth puree and serve immediately.

Tips and Notes:

Tip: Look for ground flaxseed in the health food section of large supermarkets or health food stores. Store seeds in the refrigerator or freezer.
